Very interesting work! The background, which appears like a fingerpainting, contrasts with the black foreground that reminds me of Jackson Pollock.
Thanks, the background is actually done with a few brushes, quickly swirled throughout the paint while it was still wet. Acrylic dries fast but I'm learning to work quickly with certain techniques. This one took forever to dry completely though, as the foreground was mixed with an acrylic glazing liquid. It did not fully cure for over three weeks.
